Real Estate developers, attracted more and more by the "Match Box"apartments - 9Th August 2007
On Bucharest Real Estate Market, which is collating with a strong residences deficiency on all clients segments, the project that offers small surface residences can be in customers attention.
“Very soon, for a prices cutting pressure the developers will pay more attention on small surface apartments. It is not the same thing to put up the price of with 10 % for a 60 sq. m with a price of 60.000 Euro or a 100.000 Euro apartment”, explained Andrei Sandu, unique shareholder and general manager of Media City Real Estate Company.
The developers direction in the past few years was to built new large apartments to contrast the older ones built-up before 1989. The last ones are call “match boxes”, due to theirs small surfaces and standardize architecture.
